An introduction to the context of this blog

I am a missionary, sent out by Interact, which is the international name for Evangeliska Frikyrkan, a Swedish Baptist convention. Go here and press the translate button for more information. We have four guiding principles: Evangelical (based on the Lausanne Convention), Baptist, Mission Oriented and Charismatic.

In Paraguay we, me and my wife, work with our partner organization, a Paraguayan Baptist Convention named Convención de las Iglesias Bautista Betel de Paraguay, in short CIBB. They have 17 churches and numerous annexes in the country.

Our placement is in the town of Benjamin Aceval. It's situated in the very south of the Chaco region, just 40 km from the capital, Asunción. It boasts 16000 inhabitants and has 4 evangelical churches. Our goal is to restart or replant a congregation here where there are buildings but just a handful of people.
